Michael Jackson's Memorial

Wow! Yesterday, I was so overwhelmed by the amazing memorial for Michael Jackson. It was phenomenal. The speeches and performances were wonderful. I loved that there was a prayer at the end and that is was a prayer shown worldwide. I love that I was able to see the other parts of Michael's life. Not only was he an amazing performer, he was also an amazing friend, son and most of all, father. Did you get to see it? What did you think?

I only saw the very end and I enjoyed hearing his daughter talk. I always just thought of him as a weirdo and I have enjoyed hearing of another side... Can't judge a book by it's cover!

Hi! I loved it too. I completely agree with you that it gave us a little glimpse into his personal life and I think we were able to see how loved he was. I cried and cried when his daughter spoke, bless her heart. :o(

I loved the memorial too! I thought Brooke Shields had the best speech because she actually talked about Michael the person, not Michael the performer. Her speech got to me even though I had told myself that I was not going to cry :-) I thought it was an amazing memorial and I am so glad that I took the time to watch it.

I have to agree that it was amazing to watch. Although I wasn't a huge Michael Jackson fan I enjoyed seeing into the singers life from those closest to him.

I did watch some of it and I thought that it was very respectable! It could have been kinda loony! Loved his music but he was not my favorite person to hear about!
