Meredith's Baptism

Our beautiful goddaughter, Meredith, was baptized Mother's Day weekend! We were so excited to share this moment with Matt and Monica! On Saturday evening, we went to a BBQ in Meredith's honor. We had a blast! (a little too much fun-staying up until 2:00 a.m. after the little one went to bed) It was good to see Honey and Papa-Monica's parents! We stayed up and told funny stories and I think really cracked them up...I hope we didn't horrify them with some of the stories we told-hehe!

On Sunday, we were blessed to see little one get baptized. She was beautiful! She did an amazing job! It is amazing to see how fast she is growing...I can't believe she will be one next month! Where does the time go? She got a few laughs out of the congregation because she loves to wiggle and she almost wiggled out of the pastor's arms. He had to hand her to another minister and she did better with her. I was filming and trying not to crack up as she was looking around and just excited to be up and looking at everyone. She didn't mind being the center of attention! Absolutely precious!

I was so glad that Monica's first Mother's Day was such an amazing occasion! She looked beautiful and glowed with happiness! Meredith wore such a beautiful gown! She was ready to get down and crawl by the time we went to the country club to eat and let me tell you she is fast, fast, fast! She was such a princess all weekend long! This is a weekend that Chris and I will always find precious and memorable!
